LMHP Assessor
We are currently seeking a qualified Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for our 23-Hour Crisis Stabilization, Intensive In-Home, and Mental Health Skill Building Services. This position requires working closely with clients to evaluate their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
LMHP Community Stabilization Team
The Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) provides clinical leadership, assessment, risk evaluation, and stabilization oversight for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This role ensures Community Stabilization services meet DMAS medical‑necessity criteria and DBHDS crisis‑system standards, functioning as the clinical anchor for short‑term crisis intervention, safety planning, and transition to the appropriate level of care.
QMHP Community Stabilization Team
The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) provides direct crisis‑intervention, stabilization support, care coordination, and safety monitoring for individuals experiencing an acute behavioral‑health crisis. Under the clinical supervision of an LMHP, the QMHP delivers the core interventions required for Medicaid Community Stabilization, ensuring services meet DMAS medical‑necessity criteria and DBHDS crisis‑system standards. The QMHP is the frontline crisis worker, responsible for implementing the Crisis Mitigation Plan, supporting de‑escalation, and bridging individuals to the appropriate level of care.
23-Hour Crisis Stabilization RN/LPN
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides medical and psychiatric nursing care within a 23‑Hour Crisis Stabilization Unit, a key component of Virginia’s Crisis Now continuum. The RN delivers rapid assessment, medication support, monitoring, and crisis‑intervention nursing under DBHDS facility licensing and DMAS crisis‑service standards. This role ensures safe, trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented care for individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises. The RN works alongside LMHPs, prescribers, peers, and crisis staff to stabilize individuals and support transition to the appropriate level of care within 23 hours.
23-Hour Crisis Stabilization Unit Mental Health Tech
The Mental Health Technician (MHT) provides direct support, observation, engagement, and safety monitoring for individuals experiencing acute behavioral‑health crises in a 23‑Hour Crisis Stabilization Unit. Under the supervision of RNs and LMHPs, the MHT helps maintain a safe, trauma‑informed environment and supports rapid stabilization, de‑escalation, and transition planning.
23-Hour Crisis Stabilization Unit Security Guard
The Security Guard ensures the safety, security, and protection of individuals, staff, and visitors within a 23‑Hour Crisis Stabilization Unit. This role supports a trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented environment by maintaining situational awareness, preventing unsafe behaviors, and responding to emergencies without escalating the emotional state of individuals in crisis.
